so i'm kind of at that point in my life where i'm a little bit stuck
not sure of what i want exactly
sure i enjoy micro
but i dont know what to expect..
i dont know if ill enjoy it full time
thinking about being stuck in a lab
doing case studies
doing experiments
will it be like uni? or will it be easier
it could even be harder..
will i even get a job in micro..
could i be that lucky?
i know soon i'm going to have to apply for work experience
to get my foot in the door as they say
but while i'm picking more shifts up at the pharmacy
and talk to all the friends ive made in pharmacy
i do want to do it
i do want to pursue it
but then again, once i finish i'll be stuck in the same position
a degree.. without the guarantee of a ft job
people discourage me
they tell me not to do it
to do something else because its not worth it
should i listen to them or take on the challenge
see for myself
experience it for myself
i think if it was in melbourne it would be easier, but the opportunities in canberra are too good to be true
i know i shouldnt pass it if this is something i could potentially do in the future
but time is running out
a decision must be made soon
on another note..
study for 2 more years to get my masters in labatory medicine
where they say... you are guaranteed a job at a recognised and respected lab
im not sure if that is 100%
but its at RMIT Bundoora....
its a fair drive everyday
but easy apparently as their standards are not as high as micro in monash/melbourne
as i type this,
i think i am more interested in RMIT
its in melbourne, its related to what i have done previously
and if it guarantees me a job, i am willing to do it a further 2 years
i just dont want to waste my degree i already have
and to do pharmacy, i dont think i'll be credited with much
at least this course will enhance my skills and i will be able to re-learn
like everybody says
if you can continue studying, you should
I think i've had a long enough break where i am able to go back to studying and not dread it
I still do have a PT job.. i will still be able to make some mulla whilst i study
OK!
thanks blog
you helped a lot ahah
