i feel like ranting.

it just really pisses me off... to see it on people's nicknames, descriptions about themselves and on quotes etc but there is no such thing as "forgive but never forget"

if we forgive we will forget as a result.
if you don't forget, then how is that even forgiving in the first place!?

someone does something bad to you, you forgive them, but you still hold a grudge or associate them with that matter. How exactly does that mean you have forgiven them?

it's not.

christians... when god forgives, He will "forget" their sins, thus remembering them no more! THAT'S TRUE FORGIVENESS.
None of this "forgive but don't forget bullshit!"

I'm not saying that it is easy, it is in fact a difficult challenge, but one that is achieveable and when done... very fufiling.

The order is essential. Forgiveness first, forgetting second.

Have i drummed that concept in enough yet?
